We’ve been writing software in PHP since STEP Software’s inception in 2005. Our developers began coding in PHP as early as 1998, with the release of the PHP 3. We are PHP experts and have used it for a variety of projects, whether it’s a complicated website or software on embedded kiosks.
NATIVE CODE WITH PHP
We often integrate native libraries into PHP applications. A few technologies that we’ve brought into PHP applications include our custom Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and AI libraries. We create native wrappers to call common code libraries, and create custom native code libraries to take advantage of lower level, light memory abilities, such as walking large amounts of data in a memory mapped fashion.
